HALO VS HAHO (AKA Military Free Fall)
HALO (High Altitude-Low Opening) In the HALO technique, the parachutist opens his parachute at a low altitude after free-falling at terminal velocity for a period of time after jumping from the aircraft.
This technique was used to drop needed supplies, equipment, and personnel enabling a stealthy insertion.
HAHO (High Altitude-High Opening) In the HAHO technique, the parachutist opens his parachute at a high altitude just a few seconds after jumping from the aircraft.
This technique was used to drop personnel/bodies from the air craft into enemy territory.
Both techniques were good for military maneuvers...... but for falling in love how would you fall?
